Role Description:
We are looking for a highly analytical and driven Operations Intern to work directly as a close associate to the Head of Operations. In this high-visibility role, you will bridge the gap between high-level strategy and ground-level execution. You will play a pivotal role in optimizing our production lines, ensuring robust quality control, and driving project delivery. If you are passionate about data-driven decision-making, process excellence, and scaling operations in a fast-paced environment, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Analysis & Decision Support: Conduct deep-dive data analysis (e.g., Supply chain optimization,, budget planning and actual cost tracking, make-vs-buy) to support the COO in making strategic, high-stakes decisions.
Project Management & Delivery: Track the lifecycle of all ongoing and upcoming projects, identify risks early, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure milestones are met and projects are delivered on time.
Robust Quality Control (QC) & RCA: Overhaul the current QC tracking (transitioning away from fragmented, manual documentation). Establish a robust, digitized QC process and introduce systematic Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to plug process lapses and minimize defects of returned devices. Improvise the inventory including spare management across different geographies.
SOP Enforcement & Standardization: Develop, document, and train production personnel on detailed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for assembly, testing, and troubleshooting (e.g., PCB continuity testing, visual tests) to ensure zero process deviance. Standardise data collection formats with production, projects and field teams to ensure consistency and reliability.
Metric Development & Dashboarding: Design and deploy comprehensive operational dashboards tracking bottleneck times, resource utilization, defect rates, and inventory flow to aid daily data driven faster decisions. Also define and refine core KPIs for production and projects (e.g., cycle time, first-pass yield, deployment TAT, on-time delivery, SLA adherence).
